PlayStation has introduced dozens of DualShock 4 colors over the years, and it will likely do the same with the PS5 DualSense. Currently, you can buy the DualSense in half a dozen different colors. We will continually update this list as more color options become available. Also, keep an eye out for special console bundles as they sometimes have unique controller designs, but until then, here are all color DualSense controllers you can buy.
Deep galaxy: DualSense – Galactic Purple
Galactic Purple is a gorgeous controller that looks amazing with DualSense’s black accents. Now matching faceplate colors are also available for the console. PlayStation will exclusively offer this quickly before it becomes available at other retailers.
From the cosmos: PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller – Comic Red
One of the 1st-color DualSense options, Cosmic Red, is vibrant and eye-catching. It looks lovely with the blue light bar illuminated around the touchpad. Sony says it has a subtle blue tint to create a unique shade of red for the controller. Overall, it looks fabulous.
Pretty in pink: DualSense – Nova Pink
It’s one of the few Galaxy-inspired controllers that only have a solid color. Vibrant bubblegum pink doesn’t look incredible compared to black, and it’s somewhat upsetting when it could have been just pink. That said, some people may prefer the opposite. Everyone’s taste is different.
Pretty plain: DualSense – White
The standard white DualSense controller was released with the PS5 console in November 2020. Nothing is exciting about it, but the 2 tone color scheme suits it well. Instead of featuring colored face buttons, this DualSense is all gray to ruin its aesthetic.
Pastel: DualSense – Straight Blue
If you want something more like pastel colors, Starlight Blue is the way to go. Its soft blue looks best on the DualSense, wonderfully complementing the light bar around the touchpad. Plus, like the Galactic Purple, it looks great with the controller’s black casing.
Classic option: PlayStation DualSense Wireless Controller – Midnight Black
People were begging for a PlayStation delivered with a plain black DualSense controller and Midnight Black. However, everything on it is black, from the touchpad to the face buttons, like the original DualShock 4. Like Cosmic Red, it also has some subtle blue hues throughout its body that make it pop.
There aren’t many color options available unless you want to buy a controller skin for DualSense. In addition to plain colors, PlayStation is known for offering camo and translucent controllers. DualShock 4 controllers incorporate designs from popular titles such as Star Wars, God of War, Call of Duty, Monster Hunter, and many more. If you’re looking for something more specific, you’ll probably have to wait for a unique game bundle. If you see a controller that catches your eye and is limited edition, you should buy it as soon as possible. For example, there are DualShock 4 controllers that now sell for hundreds of dollars because they are so in demand and hard to find quickly.
